An open Letter to Talent Acquisition Leaders.

Dear Talent Acquisition Leader,

In the past, you used to use recruitment agencies.

They were transactional and didn’t represent your brand very well, but you liked them because they used to advertise in newspapers, came armed with a huge ‘database’, and, above all, you only paid them when you got a hire.

Then you brought your hiring in-house.  

We all loved that. 

We got to lead in-house teams and build collaborative, branded candidate experiences, no matter what was thrown at us.  It meant we had to handle it ourselves: identifying candidates, interviewing them, and making hires. Whether for one position or many, it felt like we were in control.
